Shift Leader - Poland

Your mission

Efficiently manage the production shift team within a fast-growing greenfield project environment. Ensure seamless assembly line operations, maintain strict quality standards, enforce uncompromising compliance with EHS rules, and actively support the organization during production scaling and operational maturation.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and direct a shift team of approximately 60 assembly operators; foster motivation and a positive culture in a brand-new facility.  
  • Adaptation & Ramp-up Support: Actively participate in introducing new processes and production lines; flexibly guide the team through frequent changes during the production scaling phase until full organizational maturity is achieved.  
  • Line Tact & Flow Maintenance: Monitor production takt time, execute daily volume targets, and dynamically react to potential downtime risks.  
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and rapidly resolve bottlenecks and process issues directly on the production line.  
  • Quality & Safety Focus: Enforce strict adherence to quality specifications, assembly instructions, and EHS/ergonomic standards.  
  • Training & Onboarding: Onboard new team members, conduct job-specific training (electrical assembly standards), and build versatile skill matrices.  
  • Shift Organization: Task allocation, station staffing management, attendance tracking, and timekeeping management.  
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Participate in shift handovers (Daily Stand-ups), track key KPIs, execute seamless shift passdowns, and propose process optimizations. 

Your profile

Requirements
  • High Agility & Change Mindset: Strong ability to thrive in a dynamic greenfield environment and quickly adapt to evolving processes.  
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment (electronics, electrical engineering, or automotive preferred).  
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or higher (effective communication in an international environment).  
  • Willingness to work in shifts (initially 1st shift, transitioning to a 3-shift pattern as production scales).  
  • Strong fast-paced decision-making and troubleshooting capabilities under pressure.  
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills necessary for managing a large team (~60 staff).  
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Problem Solving / 5Why, Kanban).  
  • SEP Certifications (G1) >1kV in Operation (E) and Supervision (D) category — highly desirable / nice to have.  
  • Basic proficiency with MES / ERP systems.
