Your mission
Ciao a tutti, and welcome to Sungrow! We are thrilled to welcome you as our Logistics Intern, supporting our European logistics operations from our Milan office. In this role, you will work closely with our Logistics Specialists and Project Teams, gaining hands-on experience in international project logistics for PV and BESS projects across Italy and other European countries. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how large-scale renewable energy projects are supplied, coordinated, and delivered in a fast-paced international environment.
As a Logistics Intern, you will support the Logistics Specialists in day-to-day operational and administrative activities, including:
- Support project deliveries by assisting with RFQs and supplier data collection.
- Assist in delivery follow-up, tracking shipments, and updating internal tracking files and systems.
- Support coordination with freight forwarders, transport providers, storage, and project sites under the guidance of the Logistics Specialist.
- Help prepare and check logistics documentation, such as packing lists, shipping documents, and customs-related documents.
- Support the team in ensuring deliveries are executed on time and in full.
- Assist in cost tracking, invoice checks, and basic logistics reporting.
Your profile
All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit in this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess a strong interest in international logistics and project-based environments.
- Have basic knowledge (academic or internship-level) of international transportation, Incoterms, and supply chain fundamentals.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and an organized, structured way of working.
- Be comfortable working with Excel and MS Office; exposure to ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Possess good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Proficiency in English at B2–C1 level; Italian is required.
