As our Senior Energy Storage System Solution Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative energy storage solutions. Curious what this is all about? - Lead high-quality technical advisory services for pre-sale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) activities.
- Manage projects and interface across engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and control schemes.
- Provide crucial technical input from initial assessment through to economic feasibility and integration with other electrical or generating plants.
- Review overall project conceptual design, detailed design, and suggest technical and design improvements for ESS projects.
- Oversee the preparation and management of specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of battery storage system plants.
- Support due diligence for ESS projects and assist customers and lenders through the financial close process.
Your profile
All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit into this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:
- You possess a solid background in power electronics and battery technologies.
- You are familiar with renewable energy utility grid connection standards, power quality studies, and PCS dynamic performance approval processes.
- You have working knowledge of PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.
- You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or energy-related fields.
- You bring 8+ years of relevant working experience in energy storage system development, preferably with lithium-ion.
- You are fluent in German (C1) and English (C1).
