Your mission
Responsible for the overall financial and tax management of the Poland factory ,including but not limited to accounting, taxation, financial planning, cost control, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the business, ensuring financial integrity, driving performance, and building a strong local finance team.
Accounting and Taxation: Conduct in-depth analysis of local finance and tax policies. Develop and improve financial and tax management systems adopted to the plant's operations. Prepare and submit regular financial and management reports to meet external disclosure and internal management requirements. Execute effective tax planning strategies to ensure local tax compliance and optimize the group's overall tax position. Proactively identify financial and tax risks and implement preventive measures to ensure stable and lawful company operations.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the plant's annual budgeting process. Organize and coordinate cross-functional departments for budget preparation and review. Analyze, challenge, and consolidate budget data to form a reasonable overall plant budget. Track budget performance, conduct regular variance analysis, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to business partners. Provide financial evaluation and support for special investment projects.
Cost Control and Analysis: Establish and optimize the local cost management system. Regularly collect and analyze cost data to monitor trends and drivers. Prepare timely cost analysis reports and ad-hoc business case analyses. Lead regular performance review meetings to identify cost-saving opportunities and support the implementation of improvement measures.
Compliance and Internal Control: Regularly review the adequacy and effectiveness of the plant's internal policies and procedures against group standards. Drive improvements across departments. Possess expertise in import/export regulations and trade policies; provide guidance to ensure compliant and standardized operational execution.
Financial Digitalization: Champion the implementation and optimization of the ERP system (e.g., SAP), ensuring the finance and cost modules are configured to meet local statutory requirements. Support headquarters in management transformation and financial digitalization projects.
Business Partnering & Team Leadership: Responsible for building and developing the overseas finance team, including recruitment, training, and mentoring. Foster a culture of continuous learning in both financial and business knowledge to enhance the team's capabilities.
Project Management: Oversee and drive the execution of major operational initiatives and annual key projects for the overseas subsidiary, ensuring coordination and successful implementation.
