Below are your main responsibilities in this role:
1. System and Process Enhancement
- Support the integration and alignment of MyDATA, e-Invoice, e-Delivery, Material Ledger, and SAP systems to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with Greek statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and group finance teams to optimize system interfaces and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Ensure SAP configurations support both local accounting needs and group reporting standards.
2. Financial Reporting and Control
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Greek GAAP and group accounting policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of financial data.
3. Tax and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure accurate reconciliation between SAP trial balance and local tax filings prior to MyDATA submission.
- Stay updated on Greek tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT) and ensure full compliance across business transactions.
- Review sales and purchase invoices for tax compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors for VAT return preparation, filing, and related compliance matters.
4. Business Support
- Prepare internal management reports for headquarters, including AP/AR summaries, expense analyses, and other managermant report.
- Provide analytical support for cross-border and intra-EU transactions, ensuring compliance with triangular trade and VAT regulations.
- Collaborate with EU subsidiaries and logistics teams to design efficient and compliant transaction structures.
5. Audit and External Coordination
- Act as a key contact during local and group audits, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests and documentation requirements.
- Liaise with external consultants, banks, and local authorities to support daily operations and compliance obligations.
