Being an Utility Technical Team Lead - Benelux is an exciting task, since you are the superhero, our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these here are your most important tasks:
1. Pre-Sales Team Leadership
Manage a team of solution architects and engineers focused on pre-sales activities: Technical bid management (RFQ/RFP response)
Competitive solution benchmarking(Utilty PV&ESS, Large C&I)
Set KPIs: Bid win rate, proposal turnaround, technical satisfaction score
2. End-to-End Proposal Ownership
Architect winning proposals: Direct technical solution design for strategic tenders.
Commercial-Technical Integration: Partner with Sales to structure bankable CAPEX/OPEX models
Position Sungrow differentiators (e.g., PowerTitan's lower LCOS, SG320HX's efficiency)
Risk Mitigation: Identify technical/commercial deal risks (grid constraints, BoS costs) and develop mitigation strategies.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
Customer-Facing: Lead technical workshops with developers (e.g., Lightsource bp), EPCs (BAM, VINCI), and utilities.
Internal Collaboration: Brief HQ R&D on Benelux-specific requirements
