Your mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services that are not directly tied to our core product offerings. This includes areas such as office supplies, IT services, marketing materials, and other indirect spending categories. The Indirect Procurement Specialist will develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best value for the company.

- Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Formulate and execute strategies for the procurement of indirect goods and services to ensure cost-effective and efficient purchasing. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Mitigate risks associated with procurement processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Sales Operations, Service, Legal, IT, Marketing, HR, and Finance to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and quality standards.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process. Work closely with various departments(e.g., Finance, operations, and legal) to understand their purchasing needs.
- Budget Management: Manage and track budgets related to indirect procurement, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and cost savings to senior management.
