We have an exciting new position for You to consider, it is our next Product Manager Utility PV Solutions - Germany!
Truly an inspiring Position, but what it is about, and what we expect from You?
Well, let`s dive in, shall we?
These would be partially your tasks:
  • Collect and prioritize product requirements for current/future products based on inputs from customers, Technical Sales, other internal stakeholders and by investigating the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Identify and resolve problems on time and gather information to conduct data-driven decisions and find potential alternative solutions
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications, transfer them to R&D and Product Management at HQ and monitor the development progress until product launch/modification
  • Support various customer-facing departments including Sales, Technical Sales, Service
  • Manage product launch with all involved departments including Sales, Technical Sales and Marketing
  • Support the development of technical materials such as manuals, product configuration lists, product presentations, training's to communicate product advantages and benefits etc.
  • Provide proactive input to Sungrow’s roadmap of new product developments and be responsible for maintaining the product’s roadmap presentation
  • Be the technical and market expert in Sungrow’s Utility PV Solutions portfolio
Your profile
All right, ok, that was exciting was it?Now, ​we want to make sure you feel happy and challenged in your position, therefore, it would be great if you have the following personal background:
  • Technical background with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Engineering or similar is a must
  • 5+ years work experience in PV industry with a technical background
  • 2+ years work experience in Product Management or Technical Sales of hardware, electrical systems is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of the technical requirements for PV systems in the utility scale segment, including product specifications, grid code requirements, competitive landscape, etc…  
  • Deep knowledge in PV Inverter and Medium Voltage Station technology is an advantage
  • Experience in writing detail-oriented requirements
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Quick learner with desire to increase knowledge in the PV industry
  • Language Package: German and English at least C1. Chinese or additional European languages are a plus.
